About Wayne Schoeneberg
Wayne T. Schoeneberg proudly claims his Southern heritage as a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He was raised in the St. Louis area and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for undergraduate and law school.
After earning a degree in Political Science in 1968 he entered the United States Army and graduated from Engineer Officer Candidate School in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. He was commissioned in the Adjutant General’s Corp and then went on to serve as Commanding Officer of the United States Army Security Agency Detachment covering the Fourth and Fifth Army Areas.
Wayne left the Army in 1971 and attended Law School at the University of Missouri at Columbia. He graduated in 1974.
Since becoming a member of the Bar, Wayne has been in private practice in Eastern Missouri. He is admitted to practice in The Supreme Court of the United States, the 5th, 7th, 8th and 10th Federal Appellate Circuits Courts, various United States District Courts throughout the country and the Courts of the State of Missouri.
Wayne is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell. That is the highest rating given to lawyers.
He has handled many high profile cases throughout his career. His clients have ranged from rock stars, athletes and to political figures. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates reserved for those who have obtained verdicts of One Million Dollars or more. He has successfully represented clients in cases in a wide variety of criminal cases in State and Federal Courts.
DWI cases are a large portion of his practice.
Wayne maintains membership in many professional associations and is an Advocate in the National College of Trial Lawyers. He served on the Board of the O'Fallon Family Y.M.C.A.

Highlighted Achievements
- Won a $1.2 million jury verdict in a defective highway design case, arising from a vehicular accident in which a car crossed the center line, became airborne, and landed on the opposing side, killing a mother, and seriously injuring a father.
- Provided a pro bono defense for the alleged kidnappers of a Planned Parenthood physician demanding immediate action from the President of the United States. This case garnered national media coverage.
- Represented a labor leasing business owner under investigation for racketeering in connection with alleged bribes to the Teamsters union. Successfully avoided indictment.
